Curating the Future
We collaborate with BioDesign makers, land artists, local farmers, and ecology producers who work together to create solutions to environmental challenges. Our latest project was in Larnaca (Cyprus), where we established a BioDesign Festival with a mycelium pavilion by Stijn Dries and Ivana Mik, an exhibition on BioDesign called BioSculpt and many engaging workshops.
ABOUT LARNACA BIODESIGN FESTIVAL
The Larnaca BioDesign Festival was a 10-day experience that explored the intersection of design, science, and nature. We are more than just a festival; we are a platform for change, a catalyst for sustainable solutions, and a celebration of innovation. Our aim is to engage, educate, and inspire, bringing together a diverse community of visionaries, creators, and eco-enthusiasts.
Our festival showcased the potential of BioDesign through exhibitions, hands-on workshops, and insightful lectures. With a lineup of leading minds from across the globe, we delved into the pressing environmental challenges of our time and the pioneering solutions being developed through BioDesign.
In the heart of beautiful Larnaca, we invited attendees to witness the future of sustainability as it unfolds. Together, we are not just observers of the future; we are co-creators.
Our mission? We're here to kick-start a revolution in sustainable design. By igniting the fusion between BioDesigners, land artists, local farmers, and ecology scientists, we're driving forward a new era of environmental solutions. We're all about making BioDesign work, boosting resource-smart practices, and putting biodiversity up front. It's about more than just inspiring change - it's about empowering our community to roll up their sleeves and co-create a world where sustainability isn't optional - it's the only way we design."
